WHAT'S GOING ON...
Ok, O' Cap! Last week a team of missionaries headed up north to Dilè near Cap Haitian to run a retreat for teens in the area. Sara, our fearless leader along with the rest of us gave talks, led games and low ropes, and just tried to bring Christ to each person we met. On the last day a few of the teens shared what The Lord had done during the retreat. One sharing that she would like to include Mama Mary in her journey closer to Christ. Another sharing that after the guys session he truly felt like he needed to be his brothers keeper and that he was a Gason Bondye. (Man of God for you English speaking folk)
Confirmation is in full swing. Last week we led a session on the importance of our sacraments. The day started with a little skit that Amy and myself acted in. Anna showed us that we as a church have a reason to enter into the sacraments that The Lord has given us, she also showed us the why. Paul led us in a large group discussion. Then we finished with a renewal of our baptismal vows.
Group Fiat The ladies are going through Joy of the Gospel but last week was kinda special. Ladies group moved their meeting day to Saturday and this day landed on Valentines Day. During their meeting the ladies went on a date with Jesus, writing letters to Him and also just spending time with Him.
Gason Bondye Guys group met on that Saturday as well and we started our series on relationships. At the end of the session we talked about relationships that we struggled with and came up with a plan to try and strengthen those relationships. Gason Bondye! Leve Kanpe!

Life Teen Missions has been in Haiti since October of 2012. We were extended an invitation by Bishop Dumas of the Diocese of Aun-se-vou and Miragoine to be a part of the New Evangelization in Haiti specifically with the youth. We currently serve the teens in our area through Bible Studies, Life Nights, XLT's, and one-on-one discipleship. We enjoy visiting our teens homes to bring the Gospel to their families and inviting them to return to church. Currently there are 10 full time Life Teen Missionaries serving in Haiti, including the smallest and best missionaries, Nathaniel and Therese Albert. We feel very blessed to be in Haiti serving the youth who are so hungry to know Christ.
